This is the development of my character i done for the animation. I was inspired by the Gorillaz pictures by Jamie Hewlett. I will further develop the image the colour will change to blues and gray and some more detail will be added.
Week 1 of Professional Practice
in the first week of this project i did a lot of research and i m happy with the amount of work i have done as i almost completed the research part of the project.
I looked at the background information about Blue Monday and People United, I read and made comments on the Copy right law and Intellectual Property ( 4 different types) i also looked into a successful advertisement campaign of Coca Cola made some comments on that and got some ideas for my own work
Next week i will finish off the research and start on initial ideas for the final outcome and experiment with different software to make my animations.
New Brief
on my first week back after charisma’s i was given a new brief.
for this project i have to create a adverting campaign for Blue Monday.
blue monday is all about making people happy on the worst day of the year because every one is broke after Christmas and mast people have broken their new years reassertions.
I m thinking about making and animation which will help to spread awareness and happiness across the uk or advertise the event.
Evaluation of my work
i feel good about this project because i m very happy with my final outcomes and how they look.
if i was to do this project again i would definitely give my self some more time for research and development of my ideas also experiment a bit more with different media doing that would improve my final outcome and boost my grades up.
here are my final designs of the stamps for the london 2012 olympic games. four sports i picked to do are boxing, fencing , shooting and teakwondo. i used a triangle grid to create my designs and i also decided to stick with the pop art colours and i changed the opacity of the design made it smaller and repeated it in the background. all of them ware created on illustrator so they are vector images and can be resized and will not loose their sharpness.
I really like how you used the drawings to make the research pages look interesting and i m looking forward to see more work from you keep up the good work xD.

I have used a orthographic grid to crate this image. I really like the flame but I still have to work on the hand holding the torch to make it look more interesting.
I have also created three stencils to screen-print this image.then i scanned the picture to illustrator and made some adjustments to it but it still needs to be worked on.
I have also created some colour versions of the torch in the pop-art style.
